Finally after an intense period of basic courses like photoshoip, Illustrator, free hand drawing Friday we go back to our “Project Runway” design room and start pattern cutting and making gaments. Yayyyy Can’t be more excited.
This year has taken me on a journey, a creative one and it’s a wonderful feeling once results start to show.

Back from a 10 day trip to Italy, not in the famous fashion districts of Milan but Close to Napoli where we got to experience real Italian family life and this means a lot of food, coffee and I managed to pick up real handmade Italian wooden sunglasses spotted by my hubby first.
It’s the evening before my 1st official day at school and this picture from Oscar de la Renta’s FB page inspires me so much ! Hope it does the same for you.

Yes, it is really time now. Prepping for school and this means ordering software and books. A last-minute holiday with friends ~ which is not bad at all with being so busy the past weeks ~ moving countries, having a small operation and designing a small new business, family time and so many things going on “someone’s mind is spinning”.

We moved into a 3 bedroom apartment in the centre of Marbella in the Costa del sol in Spain and so far so good. After 4 years of tropical heat in the Caribbean and before that years of Amsterdam city life, Marbella is the right mix for now and a furnished apartment a welcome change from a large home with lots of maintenance

One week ago we arrived at the airport in Malaga after 10 wonderful days in Amsterdam, found the most cute apartment with a little private garden for Carlito, community pool for the family and friends and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Prepping for school it is the coming Months, Can’t wait for school to start and to embrace my new life as a fashion designer student !
Marbella and Puerto Banus are great for fashion inspirations and the idea of a dedicated blog to just this part of spain might be a good one. One more reason to visit the shops and other fashionable places.

On another note, with just so little time to browse the web I saw the most amazing wedding dress of Kate Moss on PerezHilton.com and since it’s from Galliano I must praise Kate for her loyalty. The dress is like in a fairytale and just makes her even more beautiful.

After a pretty smooth flight from Curacao to Amsterdam, picking up the rental car and bringing our puppy Carlito to the 5 star doggy hotel we arrived at our BFF’s home to enjoy her noodle soup and delicious coffee.
Till now we have bought finally the new MAC and enjoyed some reading fashion books (Agent Provocateur) @ the coffee table.
Our friend brought us to the fashion center, such a shame I forgot the camera…
This week visiting friends in the city and this time we bring the camera !

Next Month (June) we be traveling from the Caribbean to Europe and move into our new home in Spain.
To start in September an exciting new period as a fashion design student
Hopefully internet connections and time schedules allow a few updates the coming weeks. Otherwise, lots of new stuff in July
